Privacy policy

This page explains how LBV collects, uses, stores and protects information about visitors, tenants and property owners.

1. Who handles your data

LBV, Chisinau, Republic of Moldova, is the data controller for md.lbv.agency, lbv.agency, lobov.agency and related services. For data questions, contact our manager on Telegram: @lobov_ag.

2. Data we may collect

  • Account details from Telegram or email sign-in, profile and authentication data.
  • Saved listings, requests, rental preferences and saved utility calculations.
  • Details needed for a contract and SafeRent: identity, contact details, terms, confirmations, photos and condition notes.
  • Technical security information such as IP address, user agent and audit logs.
  • For Telegram channel ads: Meta _fbc/_fbp identifiers, the ad label, a unique invite link and a pseudonymized member identifier.

3. Purposes and legal grounds

We use information to provide accounts, housing search, communication, contracts, condition reports, security and legal compliance. Depending on the situation, the basis may be your request, performance of a contract, a legal obligation, legitimate interest or consent.

4. Cookies and local storage

We use technical cookies for sessions and security. Your theme, language, saved homes, filters and some drafts may be stored locally in your browser. Meta Pixel runs on public pages and measures visits and contact link clicks (Telegram, WhatsApp, Viber, phone and email), without including the number, address or username in event parameters. When you press the channel button, _fbc/_fbp identifiers may be linked to a unique invite link; the bot counts confirmed joins separately from clicks. Telegram and form protection services may use their own technologies.

5. Access and recipients

Authorized staff and necessary technical providers can access data. Once Conversions API is configured, we may send Meta the confirmed join event with ad identifiers to measure advertising; the raw Telegram ID is not sent. Information may be shared with the other party to a rental when needed for negotiations and the contract, or when required by law. We do not sell personal data.

6. Retention

We keep data only as long as needed for its purpose, the contract, protection of rights and legal obligations. A SafeRent record confirmed by both parties cannot be deleted before the rental ends or for at least 90 days afterward. In a dispute or to protect a party’s rights, the principal administrator may place an indefinite deletion hold with an explanatory note.

7. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request information, access, correction, restriction, objection, deletion or transfer of your data. Contact our manager on Telegram: @lobov_ag. We may ask you to verify your identity.

8. Law and complaints

Law No. 133/2011 applied until 23 August 2026; Law No. 195/2024 has applied from 23 August 2026. You may also contact the National Centre for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Moldova.
